Connoisseurs consider the Arabica from the Mount Elgon region to be the best in Uganda.
Our Arabica grows on small plantations in Kapchorwa at an altitude of 1,800-2,000m, is picked by hand, washed and dried in the sun. The main harvest time for arabica is from October to February.
This wet processed Arabica has significantly more body than other coffees from East Africa.
The coffee is full-bodied and expressive. Its pleasant fullness is created by creamy chocolate notes, which it combines with light fruit notes - an extraordinary taste experience. The coffee leaves an aromatic, long-lasting aftertaste after a sip.
